Tour Overview

Vietnam Sea and Sand Holiday is one our iExplore’s Vietnam holiday packages for fans of sea cruises and beach vacations.

Starting in Hanoi – the capital city of Vietnam, we’ll travel our way to Halong Bay where over 3,000 limestone mountains jut out of the emerald water of the East Vietnam Sea and where we’ll have a thorough cruise through the most beautiful area of Halong Bay which has been listed as the World Heritage site by the UNESCO. Then the journey continues along the most beautiful part of the over 3,200km of coastline of Vietnam with stops at gems for beach vacations: Non Nuoc Beach in Da Nang, Nha Trang Beach and Mui Ne Beach in Phan Thiet.

Our journey concludes at Saigon where before flying home, you have a full day soaking in the thumping vibrant atmosphere of the city once known as “the Pearl of the Orient”…

Tour Itinerary

Day 1. Arrive at Hanoi (with tour guide) (no meal)

Arriving at Hanoi Airport, welcomed by our tour guide and driver and transferred to the hotel.
Free time for the remainder of the day.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2. Hanoi Morning Tour/Free Afternoon (B)

Have half a day tour of the leafy capital city of Vietnam. We’ll visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square and the Presidential Palace where you learn about the recent history of Vietnam. Then, our tour continues onto the One-Pillar Pagoda with unique Vietnamese architecture dated back from the 11th century. After that, our car transfers us to the Temple of Literature where we’ll embark on a journey back in time to learn about a centuries-old tradition of Vietnam: the tradition of learning and respecting knowledge. We’ll have some time taking a real adventure in the weaving traffic of Hanoi before getting back to the hotel. Have the remainder of the day at your own pace.

Day 3. Hanoi – Halong Bay Junk Cruise (without tour guide) (B/L/D)

08:15 A.M Our driver calls back at your hotel and transfers you through the green countryside of the Red River Delta. The 3-hour road journey offers idyllic rural landscape of Vietnam and authentic country life style. We’ll call at a handicraft workshop at mid way for you to have refreshment, to enjoy the local coffee and to sample the fine handicrafts of Vietnam.

Arriving at Halong at around 12:00, we’ll be welcomed at the waiting cafe for embarkation procedure and for boarding our wooden junk. At 13:00, our junk starts leaving the dock plying amid the green towering limestone islands of Halong Bay and our delicious hot lunch is served on board. Having a relaxing time savoring the seafood and admiring the fresh beauty of nature of Halong Bay. In late afternoon, visit the Sung Sot Cave (the Cave of Amazement) and then be charmed by the stunning sunset over Halong Bay from the top of Ti Tov Mountain. Dinner is served on board and enhanced by the fine taste of our welcome drink.
Overnight on board the junk amid the tranquil wild nature of Halong Bay.

Day 4. Halong Bay Junk Cruise – Hanoi – Da Nang Non Nuoc Beach (with tour guide at Da Nang only) (B/L)

In the morning, rising early with the sun and take in the absolute freshness of Halong Bay, and have a trip by sampan to visit the secret lagoon of Luon. Then travel back to our junk and have breakfast on board while our junk pull the anchor and continue our cruise further into the infinity of Halong Bay. In late morning, we’ll start cruising back to the shore and have the last feast for lunch. Disembarkation at 11:45 and our car is ready for you at the pier for the road trip back to Hanoi Noi Bai Airport for the flight bound for Da Nang. Arriving at Da Nang Airport, welcomed by our local tour guide and driver and transferred to Non Nuoc Beach (Non Nuoc Beach) which is our home for 2 nights.

Day 5. Da Nang Non Nuoc Beach at leisure (B)

Full day at leisure. Overnight at Non Nuoc Beach.

Optional tour: There are the Marble Mountains and the Ancient Port Town of Hoi An close to Non Nuoc Beach which can be visited for half a day or for a day. Please contact iExplore Vietnam for an optional tour of the surrounding attractions.

Day 6. Non Nuoc Beach – Nha Trang Beach (morning flight) (with tour guide at Nha Trang only) (B)

In the morning, our driver calls back at your resort and transfers you to Da Nang Airport for the flight bound for Nha Trang Beach City. Arriving at Nha Trang – Cam Ranh Airport, welcomed by our local tour guide and driver, and escorted to the resort. Free time for the remainder of the day.
Overnight at Nha Trang.

Optional tour: At Nha Trang, iExplore Vietnam offers tours to the Thap Ba Pohnaga Cham Tower, Tri Nguyen Aquarium, Nha Trang Oceanographic Institute, Yersin Museum, Nha Trang Cai River cruise, Nha Trang Bay cruise…. Day 7. Nha Trang Beach at leisure (B)

Full day at leisure. Overnight at Nha Trang.

Day 8. Nha Trang – Phan Thiet Mui Ne Beach (without tour guide) (B)

08:30 A.M Our driver calls back at your resort and transfers you to Phan Thiet Mui Ne. The journey takes 5-6 hours and for a few hundred kilometers, you’ll travel along the desert coastal region of Vietnam with fine-white sand and blue sea. There are opportunities to stop every now and then on the journey for taking photos and for enjoying coffee “in the middle of nowhere”…Arriving at Phan Thiet Mui Ne, check into the resort and have relaxing time at your own pace for the remainder of the day.

Day 9. Mui Ne Beach at leisure (B)

11 A.M Our driver calls at your resort and transfers you to Saigon – the biggest city of Vietnam. Arriving at Saigon, check into the hotel and have free time for the remainder of the day.

Day 12. Saigon at leisure (B)

Full day at leisure.

Day 13.Depart Saigon (without tour guide) (B)
